The BLUE MEANIES have become one of those bands that everyone draws reference, sights influence, and claims inspiration. Much like the careers of Zappa, Fugazi, and Fishbone, The MEANIES are a "musicians band", placing importance on creating a "signature sound" rather than easily digestible songs manufactured for radio. “Pigs” is a collection of a few new songs, and some rare and hard to find covers and b-sides. Includes Black Flag, The Vindictives, Queen, and Op Ivy covers, along with a striking rendition of Dr. Seuss’s xmas classic "The Grinch."
