Uganda Skate & Solidarity Shirt
In 2003 Jackson Mubiru built a skateboard half-pipe in Kitintale, Kampala Uganda, but it was much more than a skate park. Jackson had a vision to unite the children of Kitintale over skateboarding. The children, many orphans because of a 20 year old civil conflict, have no access to public schooling after they grow to be 12 years old, but Jackson dreams of something different. The Sparrow Project has joined in to support Jacksons dream, collecting thousands of dollars of skateboards, gear, and shoes as part of Sparrows Skate & Solidarity Project. Now, Jackson wants to expand to build a school & social center for the kids & Sparrow wants to support them through their growth. Half the proceeds from the sale of this shirt will go directly to help Jackson & his Uganda Skateboard Union. For more info on the union Click Here
